Kakusan4 is a nucleotide substitution model selection script written in Perl language for multi-partitioned data set. Kakusan4 is designed and optimized for multi-core processors and multi-processor computers. It performs nucleotide substitution model selection at each partition and/or at each codon position based on AIC, AICc, and BIC.
